Wings as Eagles
In our technology-driven age, the common man has no time for serious contemplation regarding the most consequential matter that he can ever confront: the Being of God and the daily implications of that Person. Man's real worth is not in what he can gain in possessions and power but in his eternal soul, which will continue to its final resting place when he sheds his fleshly tabernacle. Living this life amidst busy schedules can dull our senses and prevent us from seeking God. Though it is not intentional, we see the reality if we are honest with ourselves. This devotional is not meant to provide more information for an intellectual exercise but instead to provoke a trembling child who desires to still their hearts to hear the voice of God. It is meant to be a stimulus for the longing soul to once more gaze upon His holiness and be captivated by His beauty.
